QuizRivals is a digital multiplayer quiz platform that enables users to participate in asynchronous trivia duels, compete against other players or automated opponents, progress through ranking systems and leagues, and answer AI-generated quiz questions.

The app offers optional paid cosmetic features.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time.

3. Account Types and Access

Users may access QuizRivals as registered users through email/password or social login.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and all activities carried out under your account.

4. Gameplay and Automated Opponents

QuizRivals may match you with automated opponents ("bots") to ensure short waiting times and continuous gameplay availability.

Bots simulate player behaviour and are an integral part of the service.

5. AI-Generated Content

Quiz questions are generated using automated systems.

While we strive for accuracy and appropriateness, we do not guarantee that all content is correct, complete, or free from errors or bias.

Users may report problematic content.

6. Prohibited Conduct

It is strictly prohibited to:

• cheat or manipulate gameplay
• exploit bugs or vulnerabilities
• use automated scripts or external tools
• attempt to reverse engineer the app
• interfere with matchmaking or ranking systems

Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

7. In-App Purchases

QuizRivals offers optional in-app purchases, such as cosmetic items.

All purchases are processed via Apple App Store or Google Play.

Refunds are handled by the respective platform.

8. Intellectual Property

All content of QuizRivals, including game design, quiz questions, graphics, and software, is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, distribute, or reuse content without permission.

9. Reporting and Enforcement

We reserve the right to review reported content or behaviour, remove content, restrict access, and suspend or terminate accounts where these Terms are violated or necessary to protect the platform.

10. Availability of the Service

We strive to provide a reliable and secure service.

However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Wildcard GmbH shall not be liable for errors in quiz content, automated opponent behaviour, temporary unavailability, or data loss caused by user actions.

Liability for intent and gross negligence remains unaffected.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate accounts if these Terms are violated, unlawful activities occur, or there is misuse of the platform.

13. Changes to the Terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time.

The current version will always be available within the app.

Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Austrian law, excluding conflict-of-law rules.

The competent court at the registered office of Wildcard GmbH shall have jurisdiction, to the extent permitted by law.
